INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION AND
MOBILITY
International mobility represents an important aspect of the internationalization of the Faculty of Criminal Justice and Security Studies at the University of Sarajevo and encompasses mobility for students, as well as teaching and non-teaching staff. Through exchange programs, it is possible to carry out part of studies, professional internships, teaching activities, and professional development at foreign higher education institutions that are partners of the University of Sarajevo.
ERASMUS+ MOBILITY
Following a decision of the Senate of the University of Sarajevo, member institutions (faculties) are authorised to sign Erasmus+ KA171 inter-institutional agreements independently, provided that the cooperation is exclusively related to activities within the respective faculty.
This includes, for example, staff or student mobility linked to specific study programmes.
As Bosnia and Herzegovina is a partner country in the Erasmus+ programme, KA171 agreements with partner institutions from programme countries (EU) must be initiated through the partner institution. In practice, this means that a partner institution includes our Faculty as a partner in its KA171 project application submitted to the national Erasmus+ agency in their country.
EUPeace
The University of Sarajevo became part of the European university initiative called EUPeace (European University for Peace, Justice, and Inclusive Societies). The EUPeace alliance/network focuses on increasing the effects of internationalization under the prefix of nurturing a peaceful, just and inclusive European society, at different levels. In this way, our University continues the long-standing tradition of inter-university cooperation for the development of a culture of dialogue and the promotion of peace.
