INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION AND
MOBILITY

International mobility represents an important aspect of the internationalization of the Faculty of Criminal Justice and Security Studies at the University of Sarajevo and encompasses mobility for students, as well as teaching and non-teaching staff. Through exchange programs, it is possible to carry out part of studies, professional internships, teaching activities, and professional development at foreign higher education institutions that are partners of the University of Sarajevo.

Students of the Faculty have the opportunity to participate in mobility programs that provide academic and professional exchange, acquisition of new knowledge and skills, development of intercultural and language competencies, as well as exposure to contemporary approaches in the fields of criminalistics, criminology, and security studies. International mobility contributes to the personal and professional development of students and increases their competitiveness in both domestic and international labor markets.

As a member of the University of Sarajevo, the Faculty actively participates in international mobility programs, particularly through the Erasmus+ program and other forms of bilateral and multilateral cooperation facilitated by the Faculty and University. Students are able to have the ECTS credits earned during mobility recognized in accordance with the regulations of the University of Sarajevo and the Faculty’s study programs.

In addition to student mobility, teaching and non-teaching staff of the Faculty have the opportunity to participate in international mobility programs for the purpose of teaching, professional development, exchange of knowledge and best practices, as well as strengthening institutional cooperation with foreign partner institutions.

Information about current calls for international mobility, application requirements, necessary documentation, and deadlines is available through the official channels of the University of Sarajevo and the Faculty. Students and staff seeking additional information and support during the application and mobility process can contact the Vice Dean for International Cooperation of the Faculty.
