The University of Sarajevo – Faculty of Criminal Justice, Criminology and Security Studies is pleased to invite students, academic staff, and the wider professional community to a guest lecture delivered by Dr. Alessandro Lazari from the University of Salento (Italy) and the International Association of CIP Professionals, on Thursday, 13 November at 12:00, in Amphitheatre III. Within his lecture, “Modern Challenges for Critical Infrastructure,” Dr. Lazari will address contemporary threats and the complex challenges faced by critical infrastructure in today’s global security environment. Critical infrastructure represents the foundation of modern societies. Its protection is directly linked to the safety of citizens, the stability of the state, and preparedness for crisis situations. Due to the increasing frequency of natural disasters, hybrid threats, cyberattacks, and geopolitical risks, challenges in protecting critical infrastructure have become more complex than ever. Dr. Alessandro Lazari of the University of Salento (Italy) is recognized as one of Europe’s leading experts in the field of critical infrastructure. He closely follows contemporary European and global standards and actively participates in international professional and scientific bodies. His expertise and experience are of particular importance for students, researchers, and professionals in the security sector.
